Enhance your “Color Our World” summer reading series with a colorful assortment of exclusive hands-on activities from the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and Leslie Science & Nature Center!

Choose from 2 different programs:

  • Super STEAM Festival

    Book this program where visitors paint, splatter, mix, and more at our art-based stations.

    Each activity balances the elements of science, art, and the natural world all in one, art-tastic experience! 

    Program Specifications:

    Duration: 2-hours

    Age range: All

    Audience size: No limit

    Cost: $375 plus mileage

    Includes: Six, different, hands-on activities for all age ranges

    *Can be done indoors or outdoors, weather permitting.

  • Illustrating Science: Sketching animals and other Natural Wonders 

    Learn how to express the wonders of science through images and drawing.

    By meeting live animals up close, our education staff will guide visitors as they learn simple sketching techniques to create works of art based on the animals they meet.

    Program Specifications: 

    Duration: 1-hour 

    Age Range: Ages 8-13, or adults only 

    Audience Size: 30 participants or less 

    Cost: $300 plus mileage 

    Includes: 

    Meeting two, live animals for audiences to see up close. 

    Materials for sketching animals to be provided by us 

    Can book multiple sessions in one day program!
